At River City Karate, each workout is a combination of cardio, strength-building, and skills instruction and review. Classes are controlled, fast-paced, and fun. Each month, there is a focus for the training, such as Intensity, Power, or Speed.

Sensei Chase Russell earned his 1st Degree Black Belt when he was 13 years old. Chase has held the following titles, each for the applicable ranking belt and age group: Alabama State Champion 1993-1997 ; Alabama State Champion 2001-2004 ; International Karate Circuit Champion 2003 ; Regional Sport Karate Circuit Champion 2004.

KARATE IS COOL! KIDS LOVE IT - Knowing how to defend yourself and being physically fit builds confidence and self-control.

PARENTS LOVE IT– Karate is safe, affordable, and builds respect for authority. At River City Karate, your child will work out in a clean and controlled environment.
